How Needles and Pins are Made

Hand sewing needles are traditionally made using wire that is cut into the length of two needles. The two eyes are then made while the two ends are sharpened into points. Here’s a quick video from the Discovery Channel showing how, exactly, most traditional needles are made. This is not the manufacturing process used to make Spiral Eye side threading needles or SENCH side threading needles.
